You are a fucking idiot. If they were on the beach that day, you can damn well bet they were manning machine guns that were mowing down the oncomming Americans during the invasion. They weren't just watching and there at the wrong place at the wrong time. They were killed for a fucking reason, and that reason was because they were Nazis trying to kill Allied troops.
