Probation just means that if you fuck up at all while you are on it you will be in even more trouble then before. All probations are diffrent though.. Depends on what you did to go on it. Plus you might get rehab or AA or some other type of counceling with the probation.
One of my friends was on probation with county courts then he fucked up and drove on to a miltary base on accident with weed all in his car and there happned to be a drug sniffing dog right there and he got busted by federal.
The thing is that the two diffrent courts dont have anything to do with each other sence one was county and one was federal so the county wont even know about the federal offence and probation.
So basicly he is doing consecutive probations from two diffrent things.. Its a good thing for him that it is like that or he whould probably be in jail for probation violation plus whatever else they whold have given him.
