actually kimmykim, I think you will find many that will take issue with you as to whether or not Gates made it better. Bigger yes, better . . . matter of opinion I guess.
To tell you the truth, I have no problem with seeing TGP2 succeed, my only point is that TGP2 is not new, there is nothing new about it.
Do you think Gates would have been nearly as successful if he just re-wrote DOS? Maybe called it DOS2? I do not.
I am not close minded, I am a realist. One of my favorite sayings is "Those that fail to remember history, are doomed to repeat it." I am only pointing out that TGP2 is what TGP first started out as.
The idea that their target market is the newbie surfer is laughable. Even newbie surfers I have spoken to know of thehun, and Richards-Realm. I have monitored search engine requests and seen these keywords used.
Besides, a newbie surfer is probably going to use a search engine to find his porn, if no one has already told him where to go. How many TGP2 sites do you figure will show up on the first 3 pages of a SE?
I think there is a problem when a TGP2 site accepts TGP galleries, or when someone with a TGP2 gallery wants to get listed on a standard TGP. Or better yet, when someone makes a TGP2 gallery, but still insists on those 5 clickable thumbs showing as much pink as they can fit into the lens, and this has been the trend I have noticed.
There is no need for TGP2, if everyone would stop showing hardcore content for free, that is where your problem lies.
