Open for debate, but I get a lot of flack now from newbies about this TGP2 stuff.

Here's my thoughts on it. I really don't belive TGP2s sell any better for anything other than Pic paysites. Why would big penis ads, dating services, evidence eliminator, CDs, phermones, or the like sell better than TGPs or any other site? I will agree that pic paysites would sell better on TGP2s, but that's about all. Problem is, time is money and it all comes down to traffic. TGP2s are a very small segment of the free porn marketplace. VERY SMALL. Ok - this might might be unfortunate but it's reality. Once a surfer finds a regular TGP they arn't comming back to a TGP2. Bookmark lost and removed.

I've heard people say TGP2s do 10X what TGPs do. BULLSHIT. That's just becasue these people dn't know how to make an effective TGP gallery. I will admite though, that for selling Pic Paysites a TGP2 would sell about 3-5X as well.

Now lets do a little math there. There are very very few TGP2s with over 10K uniques/day. There might be one or two but that's like saying everyone has the traffic of theHun in TGP. There's a reasonable amout of them with 5k real traffic that isn't being fed to them from TGPs (casue if it is those surfers will just click out and not waste their time as they know where the 'real' goods are) so lets be generous and reasonable and say TGP2 is 5X better. That means that the 5k sites are equivalent to 25K TGPs. Now seriously, anyone doing TGP submissions nowadays looks for TGPs with 100K+/day mostly becasue there are dozens and dozens of them out there. (sure some smaller TGPs do well for gallery traffic due to less links on them and such, but I'm generalizing here.) Now a newbie will probally use a free host or max out their dialup free website option so bandwidth is out of the equation. I break it down to time invested as a gallery maker. TGP2 5k=25K /day avergae gallery submitted to. TGP 100K+/day average gallery submitted to.
That means that even though you are doing better ratios, you still need the TRAFFIC to make any real money. TGPs will pay out WAY better than TGP2s for a well made gallery designed to sell because they get WAY WAY more traffic. I suppose that's the key though, designig a gallery to sell is a lot different than just designing a gallery. Most people just don't get that point.

It takes time to make galleries. Time is money. And that equation should only hold true if you're selling a pic paysite.

Personally I find it funny how people will spend more time thinking about ways to get out of doing the work than just doing the work and will try and justify it any way they can in their head.
