E-mail Etiquette Lesson #1

If you are sending out a business e-mail, make it plain text.

I am always getting e-mails from sales reps with a background image and font color that makes reading them impossible without highlighting the text.

You do not need to attatch your 1 meg virtual business card to every e-mail. No one wants to download this shit and anyone with any sense doesn't click on e-mail attatchments anyway.

Using fancy fonts and colors in e-mail does NOT make you look like a professional, it makes you look like an Internet newbie. Save this for the AOL e-mail you send to your family.
