My point was... The law is written... ( copyright law)... and now we have the "new law"... but the only way to get real action is to take care of the problem yourself.
When you send an email to a host telling them that they have a customer that has pirated and/or illegal, copyrighted material, etc... the hosting companies have ways to deal with that.
Normally, according to the contracts I have signrd, they will simply pull your plug with no refund.

The thing is DMCA makes them liable if they do not act. They don't even have the option of waiting to find out, they pull it or they are liable.
Of course if you're just making a maiscious attack and lying you are in deep trouble.
