I forget what the exact stats are, but women have thoughts/concerns about securing their personal safety with the same frequency that men have thoughts about sex. What women find threatening is the constant possibility that they could be raped, murdered, stalked, etc. and the truth is, if a woman ISN'T at least a little worried about that when a stranger approaches her, she has her fucking head up her ass. About half of the rapes in the US never even lead to an ARREST, let alone locking the guy up. I don't think there's an age where men ever come across as nonthreatening - it's totally a matter of context. Frankly, if a guy approaches a girl 25 years younger than him, it would immediately worry me that he's got poor judgement and is totally out of touch with reality. Sad, but true.
