I didn't read the article, but appearantly the host in Dallas did.

I mentioned in my email, that if they let the customer continue when copyright violations had beed brought to their attention, they they could be found liable as well.

Just common sense.

My point was... The law is written... ( copyright law)... and now we have the "new law"... but the only way to get real action is to take care of the problem yourself.

When you send an email to a host telling them that they have a customer that has pirated and/or illegal, copyrighted material, etc... the hosting companies have ways to deal with that.

Normally, according to the contracts I have signrd, they will simply pull your plug with no refund.
