That's the way it should be. Once you have everything you love & need and if you're lucky, whatever you want - why the fuck bother what anyone has to say about you/your lifestyle/your decisions.
Endangering your life (possibly) for your honor over a webmaster board doesn't look too good the morning after. That's why you sit it out, reflect, cool your heels - never make any decision in the heat of the moment, they never prove to be sound decisions.
