Interesting...but you're talking only about catching expiring type-in domains ( f.e expiring names with Overture Tool results ) or also expiring names with a good PR and some residual SE traffic
I don't know how the expiring domain business looked 4.5 years ago but today it's really crowded and there's no chance you can catch a really good domain, without paying a lot for it, since the two services with the highest success rate - Pool and NW are based on bids. So i am not sure how can someone with no money get into it.
