Sounds like Americans are the pussies, not the French. You let the British, the Australians, the Russians and the rest of the allies do all the work and then you conveniently roll in half way through and act like you're saving the day.

you need to check your facts. the US supported Britain and the other allied countries with 10's of 1000's of thousands of tons of aid and god only knows how much oil and other supplies BEFORE they got into the war. They lost countless merchant marine ships in the Atlantic and 1000's died sending supplies to Europe to support those fighting Germany.
Why would Americans be pussies for not jumping right in and fighting a war on another continent between other countries? Does that mean everyone in Iceland a bunch of pussies? Why doesn't France go to Iraq and fight?... simple... it's always politics.
