When they ask what you do.. tell them. That's a fairly simple way for them to know.
"I market websites for a living"
"Oh really, what kind?"
"I market for mainstream and adult sites."
"You own porn sites?"
"No, I send traffic to them and they pay me half of what they earn."
"Oh, I see. Does it pay good?"
"I do pretty good. I work short hours and get to spend more time with my family."
"Damn, sounds good."
"Yep, want another beer?"
"Sure!"
