I saw her live on oprah.
I am not usually a mushy person when it comes to people other than children and old folks, but damn, I cried watching.
They had video footage of everything, from when she was brought into the ER and so on...
The driver was a kid in his late teens. They showed him saying some shit about how bad he felt and then his mom came on and said she wants to take the blame off her son and put it on her.
Her reasoning was that her son May have been too afraid to call her to pick him up after he had been out drinking. She thinks if she had let him know more that his saftey was a priority and that she wouldn't get mad, this wouldn't have happened.
