Please don't go. You'll be giving him what he wants.
I know you want it too, but giving someone that isn't worth your time or level, something of yours(your time and energy) is a waste and will not make him see the light or be sorry.
The problem lies either in the hard wiring or the programming.
My guess is his hard wiring. It's a waste to try and reprogram something that is obviously a waste of resources.
