believe me i didnt do much, just helped organise it from the company i worked for. I didnt get any extra pay or recognition from my boss for it, but you can bet it was the most important project i had going on at the time. It is a good feeling to help people.


I wonder if anyone has started something like this from our industry? a charitable donation or something?

Of course it would have to be slightly disguised as to where it came from, but i think it could only help with how we are viewed by people in general.
exactly right.

everyone has a few nanoseconds of existence, and after all is said and done, what we do here, and the good that we do is all that matters.

and life is filled with small gestures of goodness, almost every hour of someone's life. a kind word, waving another guy to take the lane in front of you while driving, helping someone change a tire, telling your kids they did something good.

we need to remember that, because that's how we will be remembered.
