The subconscious mind is a wierd thing. Most of the time I try and just forget what I dreamt. It is useless and sometimes painful.

yea i can totally relate to the dream world portraying one thing and the real world another. the funniest part is that it makes perfect sense why it is the way it is in the dream world (i.e. person you know well looks like someone you've never consciously seen before and you accept it, you can jump 40 feet and it still seems real).
dreams do seem about 90% useless though. i have to discard quite a bit of absurdity by the time i wake up and look back on it because it is too wild. again though, while engaged in the dream it seems to make perfect sense.
