cats can feed themselves but like most they are lazy. Your cats are fat cause they don't do anything. If they ate lizards and mice and birds like mine find in the field they would be lean mean cat machines.

actually, ive taught my cat to come when i whistle, just like a dog, and no i dont take her for walks, but she comes along on car rides
