I had mine out in 2nd grade and it made a world of difference. I was constantly sick with strep throat, ear infections, etc. After they came out, I was rarely sick.
Tonsils are a big breeding ground for infection and bacteria. Especially once it gets in there. It will make a person sick, over and over again. It turns them into a "carrier".

Oh so that was it... the dr told us it was blleding very much. Funny thing is I have never had problems with the regenerated one. When it gets sensitive once in a while, like in every 4-5 yr. , I just eat some ice cream and it gets better

But luckily I have never had ear problems.
My sister also had them removed and she still cannot drink a glass of iced tea or ice cream or gets sick. Funny..
MR,
get well soon
