What OS? If using windows XP use the Files & Settings Transfer Wizard. Otherwise...
Create a folder on your backup media for *INBOX*
Create any subfolders you also have beneath it.
Create a folder for sent mail.
In OE, select all messages in each folder and drag to the matching backup folder. Dump them back in the same way.
There are also proggys out there to do this, but by the time you'd sift thru download.com you could have done the above.
