Technically it would be considered obscene by many it does have a legal case to fall back on.
If you look up Cinncinatti Vs. Mapplethrope and go over the entire obscenity case you will see that the jury was instructed if they found any given photo obscene then the entire exhibit was to be considered obscene. This included a photo of one man fisting another. Thus showing even in super conservative Ohio fisting could get past a jury.
Do keep in mind that the prosecution totally misshandled this trial from the get go.
I would personally avoid it, but it would be a judgement call.
