Are you talkin about like a flat screen tv or something? (agian im not to technicall with this stuff)
Only thing about hooking cpu output to tv's is (1) Tvs resolution sucks (usually 800x600 or maybe a couple steps up) and (2) if its a plasma (i think) the image from your desktop (anything that stays longer then a regular video) will be burned into the screen forever ;\
I thought about that but was advised agianst it, thought a big ass plasma for a monitor would kick ass
