Different culturals obviously speak different languages and what English they do speak is sometimes misinterpretted both ways.
I have traveled a great deal around the world and my tolerance is pretty high. I like to think that I am open to the way that others think or act.
Hans is a nice guy. He had some difficulty with communication on both ends. I am sure it is tough. I know that when I was in South America, I would at times, get pretty nervous when speaking spanish. I often ordered one thing and got another. In many places in Europe, people do drink a little more heavily and aren't very shy about it.
I am not trying to start anything with you. I like you as well. Just saying that maybe the people that had a bitter time with meeting him just got crossed up in miscommunication.

Cory, nothing but love for you, hon. And if it was perhaps cultural differences along with language barriers, I wouldn't have any issues with the guy. However, shoving a woman and then telling her that she's nothing does not constitute cultural differences and language barriers.
I'm sorry, but I have the right to completely dislike him for that. That's wrong in any language and any culture. That is NOT cool, no matter who you're trying to impress, how hard you're partying, who you think you are or who you're hanging with. Not cool at all.
