The life story of Alexander The Great is truly amazing and should make an awesome movie, especially with the amount of detail that has survived history. And there are many dramatic scenes that would work great in the movie based on his legendary exploits - taming his horse Bucephalus as a boy; cutting the Gordian Knot; crossing deep into Asia all the way to India; his battles against massive armies totalling upwards of a million men; his speeches to inspire his men and many more. I hope they do it right and don't try to make him too likeable by glossing over the savagery inherant in ancient warfare and ignoring what might be considered distasteful aspects of his life which were not uncommon in his day e.g., the butchery of innocents and his bisexuality.
