All of those companies are fair at counting signups, they're all honest. But if other companies are counting 20 to 30% clicks, and ARS is counting 90%, then it's only fair that ARS will convert better. With a different sponsor you could be converting better but with less accurate stats.
There is no proof that ARS shave anything. Clear cookies and temporary internet files. Restart, go to your site and follow your own link code. Signup with your own card then cancel. First thing is to see if it shows up in your stats - if it does, contact ARS and tell them to take $35 off of your next check. If it doesn't, contact ARS and tell them that they suck and you want your $3 back.
