A MUST READ FOR ALL AMERICANS
May, 2010
A father and son were visiting New York City, still one of the grandest and
most beautiful cities on the planet. The father took his son to Broadway
(where they saw the Lion King for it's 10,000th performance), took him to
Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, The Museum of Modern Art...all over the city.
On the final day of their stay, they went to the Statue of Liberty and then
to Wall Street, and the former site of the WTC, whereupon the father,
pointing up to the sky, said to his son, "Here is where the Twin Towers once
stood. They were more than one hundred stories high and, together with the
Statue of Liberty, stood as symbols of greatness and freedom of New York and
this country. They were destroyed by Arabs in a horrific act of terror on
September 11, 2001."
The young boy stood silent for a moment, looking from the ground skyward,
picturing in his mind's eye not one, but two towers, reaching a quarter of a
mile towards heaven and replied...
"What are Arabs?"
