2 years ago at Christmas I thought I'd do something nice with a digital photo of me and my dog to send to the familiy members. I did up a real nice email including the pic, and I sent it to about 20 members of the family across the US and Canada. PROBLEM: One of the email addys was my brother's from his nasty adult pay FETISH site. He of course got a copy of the email and hit the fucking stratosphere about it. He did NOT want is anonymity blown, so he reamed me good for that screwup. I learned really quick about the BCC feature in email after that, and luckily for us, the rest of my family didn't think to use that email address to look for a website. No harm, no foul, but I'll tell you this... Christmas & new years that year really sucked with all the shit flying between my brother and me.
BCC = smart move. Send the email to one of your free web-based email accounts, and BCC it to everyone else.
