I think it would work everywhere in USA, but here it works in a few stores and doesn't work on others (I can see "denied" error messages on the terminal). Maybe the bank doesn't accept cards issued on other countries or something. But that doesn't make any difference since I just use my epassporte to renew/register domains or withdraw the money.
