So what's the story behind Victoria Day?
Queen Victoria, was the Longest Reining Monarch of the British Empire. The Dominion of Canada was part of which. The Holiday is a left over from those days. Now more commonly known as the May 24 weekend. The first party of the summer This is when most people open the cottages have fireworks and get blitzed
