Good info on the real mcdonalds case - mcdonalds own employee testified that they knew it would seriously burn people and was 45 degrees hotter than was safe.

If you really wanna sue them, drink the coffee while walking and then spit it out cause it was colder than you expected - and slip on it. That way you have a variety of actions.

Oh and I have been reading more about that guy - $800,000 - $1,000,000 was HIS figure given under oath in a previous deposition.
