I feel less safe in Chicago, I don't fly less than 500 miles due to the hassle of going to an airport and having my bags checked by people just as incompetent as the people they replaced, and in some cases more
criminally minded.
In the three years since 9/11, most cities police radios can't talk to the fire radios, the intelligence community still sqwabbles between themselves, and just a trickle of the grants to make cities that were more than likely to be hit have been disbursed.
