People would see you simply as another attention seeking American.
Americans love to stand out in a crowd while Europeans tend to prefer to blend in. Thtat's why Americans are generally louder than people from other parts of the world. They think that what they have to say is so important it might as well be broadcast to all those within earshot.
At least that's my experience after spending over six months in both the USA and Europe.
