Never been to a chiropractor but I do love getting massages.
If you're sitting at your desk all day, try getting into the habit of standing up to stretch every hour or two. There are lots of exercises you can do to strengthen your back muscles.
I usually swap out my office chair for a big exercise ball too. It forces you to use correct posture, so alternating seats helps.
