Here's the deal.
I have a program up right now and on the first 18 clicks I got a sale. And the PPS is huge.
But now it is at 1:320 on massive targetted traffic.
The thing is I will keep it up for awhile longer because I know it sells. When I will take it down? Not sure.
Also in terms of say TGP or any other type of traffic it COMPLETELY depends on the niche. For example teen for me I expect 1:150 conversions consistant, just because Teen Kelly always did that for me.
But hardcore, I am happy with 1:600-800.
As a general rule I will normally pull the plug on a sponsor who can't convert 1 sale after the 4,000-5,000 click. Because I don't blind traffic, it is all banner or gallery.
That's pretty fair. And let me tell ya, I've had lots of sponsors that are dead... then the last 1,000 clicks make a pile of sales and my ratio turns awesome.
