Well to be honest, I doubt the FTC will do anything. The $7.99 a minute charge is a 900 number.

900 numbers are already regulated which means the FTC will most likely take a hands off approach.

A 900 number can be billed anywhere from .99 cents a minute to $10 a minute.

900 numbers are pretty much optional for the consumer to pay these days. It is very easy to charge it back thus if the price per minute is higher...the higher the chargebacks.
