It's hard to carry a pocket knife these days

I've basically carried a pocket knife, a wallet, and keys with me every day since I was a teenager. A pocket knife isn't a weapon (tiny little blade wouldn't be that effective in seriously injuring some one without a lot of effort...an ink pen would probably work just as well), and it comes in handy for me every day, mostly use it to open packages and mail.

For years, I boarded planes, went to school, and went everywhere without giving it a second thought. Now you can't go to fucking Six Flags without going through a metal dector and having them confiscate it. WTF? Are they really worried about a terrorist pocket knife attack?
