Greyday.Org?

The thread on copyrights and the internet reminded me of this site... does anyone know what happened to Greyday.org? It used to be a non-profit that promoted awareness of copyright law specifically focused on internet usage, and their spin was "What if the entire internet looked like this?" with a blank grey screen. The idea was that if people continue to disrespect and misuse the work of online artists, these people will eventually stop posting it and we would one day have nothing new or interesting to look at on the internet. It used to be a really popular site, but now it's gone (random search engine page in it's place) and I haven't been able to look up what happened to it yet... anyone know?

It's not to be confused with Grayday.org, which was a spoof on the site and promoted pirating and misuse of copyrighted material (and which is also down).

A lot of people are still linking to Greyday.org (it was a good way to promote internet copyright awareness and was less boring than just pointing to the government pages), so I don't know if it went down recently or if the links are just ancient.
