It so happens that in Iraq ( as well as in Greece I think), at a wedding people unload their guns in the air. I do not say it is brillant, but that's the way it is.
I would have tought that the US would have circulated at the minimum a leaflet explaining this to Apache pilots... or at least give them this link:
