Sorry Sarah but thats one of the biggest bullshit things I ever heard. Police don't need guns? What about the police officer who was killed when he pulled over a car? If he had a gun it would be drawn and the person in the car might have thought again about pulling the trigger. I think they do need guns. If all police officers had guns then I reckon things wouldn't be as out of control in places such as London, Glasgow and Liverpool to name a few.
If I had my way, all Police officers would carry guns!
