As a teenager, I used to live in Virginia Beach, and we went to DC frequently. I've been to all of the Smiths, and I truely believe that dropping those two bombs saved a hell of alot of lives, both Japanese and American. Japan wasn't about to back down, they would of fought till the last man had it not been for those "miracle" bombs. I have a doctorate in computer science, so history although not my main subject has always intriged me.
And oh, if you work for CNN or any other news agency, please tell them the Pentagon is in Virginia, NOT Washington DC... they seem to be ignorant of that fact.
