A slock is a nocturnal herbivore encompassing various territories extending across the North Eastern region of the Pesson peninsula. It distinguishes itself from it's closely related (and distinct cousin), the wombat, mainly due to several opposable appendeges including a 'wamsit' (our current day version of a tail). It's most unique characteristic is that of it's defense mechanism. The slock propells a venomious, goo-like, odor (scentless to man) that incapacitates it's victims within moments of inhalation/exposure.

Quite the specimen indeed.
