I want to use a webcam for some stuff and point the cam into the city or whatever during the day. I want it on a website, but I am looking for the best method.

Right now what I did is use Active Webcam and have it FTP 3x per minute to the server to upload a new pic, but that is a stupid way to do it. I don't want to FTP into the server a zillion times a day.

Isn't there a way to have a java applet that gets the images (streaming or whatever) pushed from my pc to the webpage where it is on?

Any smart ways to do it?
