I call bullshit.
When frying foods at the correct temp next to no fat from the oil is sucked into the food. Its a simple matter of physics. The pressure of the steam escaping the food from the hot oil prevents the oil from entering the food when done at the correct temps.
If you do not believe me, weigh the oil you put in the pan. Cook some food in it at the correct temp to fry at. Then when the oil is cool weigh the oil again. At most you will be missing a whopping 2-3 teaspoons worth if your cooking alot of food. Sometimes with certain foods like wings, there will actually be more liquid than you started with. I.e the fat in the wings rendered off.
Yes you are eating chicken skin, oh no. Just skip a little pre made food for a bit that is loaded with corn syrup and you will be fine.
