25k is a good amount if you can get %90 financing and 25k will be the other %10...so if you an get $225k financing on a house, you buy it, you rent it for example for $2,000 /month..
you pay the $2,000/month for the mortage...
after about 5 - 10 years, even if you are not done with the mortgage you sell it...
you will probebly get more than $25k return in a year, which is more than %100 ROI.
