the primary objective of the authorities during a hijack is to bring the crew and passengers to safety. A īmetalī door or a īremote controlī isnīt gonna secure the passengers, it might endanger them even more. Remember this is the first hijack plane that was used to blow up something else. For such situation this might be an improvement, but for the other dozen of planes that get hijacked it will only make the situation more dangerous.
