Damn straight, it should scare them. How many millions have gone into it so far? Billions?
Other scientists HAVE to of considered attacking the virus in the same way somewhere along the way. That's probably what scares them.
If they can find it this fast, and this easy.... then why hasn't there been a cure yet?
Most likely, as was already said... they decided that it's better to make it possible to "live with AIDS" rather than cure it completely.
There's more money in life long medication, then in an instant cure.
