Actually they have a "bar" type area where you can get seated without having to wait in line. I know people who do this all the time to avoid the line when they are traveling alone.

What's the best buffet? Um Breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? Seafood? Meats? Desserts? What's your price range?

My breakfast favorite is at Paris.

Lunch and Dinner - Mandalay Bay is nice. Aladdin is a good one for dinner.. or was before the new management.

Bellagio is supposed to be wonderful, but I know a lot of people have complained at that recommendation if they are just "regular folks". The exotic sauces and meats are too much for some people. They want surf and turf, not venison.

Best seafood buffet is Rio for sure. Their Carnival World Buffet has great desserts too. I'm not crazy about their regular food, but it's not bad, just not spectacular.

I think the best deal can be found at Main Street Station or Sam's Town if you're not worried about getting off the Strip. They both have above average selection and quality with average prices.

Scariest buffet? The Surf Buffet at the Boardwalk. I'm 99% sure that's the buffet they based that scene in Vegas Vacation on.
