Thank God somebody brought this up. If the death toll is worse than Pearl Harbor - the response has to be commensurate with our response to Pearl Harbor, which was ultimately two nukes.
Nuclear strikes on the patrons of anti-US terrorism: Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq, would win this war the same way they won the war in the Pacific.
If the thousands of our dead don't merit a nuclear response, there is no such thing as a merited nuclear response.
If we aren't going to use the damn things, tear them apart and sell them for scrap.
