About an hour ago I was watching a current affairs proggie on the TV (while working of course) about the state of Georgia in the old Soviet Union...
And I shit you not, this is what they were saying, and I was amazed...
Doctors are earning US$9 a MONTH
Engineers are earning US$7 a MONTH
Teachers are earning US$5 a MONTH
and the good old Five-Oh get a grand $4 a MONTH.
Oh, and that's IF they actually get paid !!!
Since the Russians cut them off, the ONLY money they make is from the US, who support them because they joined the war on terrorism.
$4 a month for a cop. A buck a week. They would earn more working for webmasterlabour !!!
Is it any wonder the mob runs the entire country?
Footnote: Can any of our Rusiian friends confirm this? It surely cannot be true, and just because I saw it on a TV current affairs show it doens't mean I can get my head around it!
