Impact did not cause collapse
Interesting listening to a civil engineer talking about why the buildings collapsed, stating that the impage of the airliners did not cause the collapse... rather the fire from the tonnes of jet fuel which softened the steel girders causing them to fail and the floors above to impact on the floors below
this is the reason, he stated that the second building collapsed before the first one, simply more weight above the stricken area
