Everyone I have been speaking to, is still in shock, but I have seen flags at half mast all over the city, schools , businesses, government offices... we are on the west coast of Canada, pretty much the other side of the continent

As in a lot of other regions around the world, disaster relief and rescue, trauma teams are standing by to leave for New York should they be requested to do so, 2+ hour line ups for blood donations at red cross centers

More than that, every one here is 100% behind our friends and allies in the US
